Job description


1.       Product Order - New product order/value offer/disposal list offer

-   Analyze new product offers and promotion product offers, reviewing its features & benefits to recommend to management the order of new products.

-  Generate costing, recommended retail price (RRP) and order forecast for proposed new products based on past sales trend as well as taking into consideration future promotions and positioning.

-   Competitors search on pricing and unique selling points (USPs) of similar products.

-   Negotiate with Asia Pacific Office (APO) on export pricing.

-   Submit order & obtain approval within datelines given by APO.

2.   Create New Product, Pricing and update of product codes in EPOS system

      -   Create new product, import price, standard cost and pricing in the EPOS system and ensure that all product fields are filled in accurately with the right product categorization.

      -   Ensure that product codes are updated with every Service Level Report, The World this Week (TWTW).

      -   Build the correct linkages from old codes to new codes and set inactive for discontinued products.


3.       Event Planning

-   Coordinate effective event planning to drive the business forward.

-  Plan and prepare the necessary product documentations and templates for event planning meetings such as the promo mechanics and business planning templates.

4.   Promotions

   -   Set key-in procedures for all promotions in the system

   -  Generate promotional report on every Monday. Send a copy of report to all stores, retail & marketing managers & directors on Monday.

   -   Track promotions performance against history, target & Key Performance Indexes (KPIs).

   -   Monitor stock situation on promo items.

   -   Suggest implement corrective actions if necessary & communicate with Retail.


5.   Product Category Management and Positioning
      -  Distribute monthly updates of each shops category performance and range contribution as well as product ranking for overall company, to facilitate effective space management at the shop floor.


Job Requirement


- Bachelor, graduated from universities
- At least 1-3 years working experience in the same position
- Excellent English spoken and written communication skills
- Product & market knowledge is an advantage
- Experience in creating sales programs
- Analytical ability and interpret market data
- Good in communications and presentation skills
- Leadership, positive working attitude, accountability and team-working
