Job description

1. Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HSE Manager to oversee the health, safety, and environmental aspects of our three food manufacturing facilities in Viet Nam. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization.

2. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures that comply with local and international regulations and standards.
  • Develop and keep update S.H.E procedures.
  • Arrange all activities for firefighting, First Aid, and Management of chemical/waste required by the Group Safety Management System and by local law.
  • Conduct regular HSE audits to identify potential hazards and risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Develop and manage HSE budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively.
  • Collaborate to establish and Maintain the Safety System.
  • Participate in HSE regulatory agency audits and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure making periodical HSE reports as local law and liaise with internal/external parties.
  • Communicate regularly with senior management on HSE performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure that all employees receive proper HSE training and are aware of their roles and responsibilities.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the HSE team, including coaching and development of team members.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 08 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards.
  • Ability to develop and implement HSE policies and procedures.
  • Proven track record in leading incident investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Experience in managing HSE budgets and resources.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and regulatory agencies.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Advanced communication in English.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
