Job description

1. Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Operation Manager, who is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the Logistics Operations and Customer Service/Documentation teams, ensuring efficient workflow, service quality, and compliance with company standards.

 

2. Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end logistics operations (Air/Sea Import & Export)
• Supervise shipment execution, ensuring timelines and service quality
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of shipping documents (BL, AWB, customs docs)
• Monitor service quality, response time, and customer satisfaction
• Train and mentor staff to improve capability and efficiency
• Co-operate well with partners/ co-workers (customs, forwarders, carriers, trucking companies…) to provide good service to customer & also avoid any trouble
• Response and discuss to customers some information related to shipments such as cost incurred, missing documents… Effectively solve customers’ complaints.
• Check rate and serve for bidding. Collect and check rate: ocean freight/air freight/trucking rate/customs rate to make sure the best rate for bidding
• Report to Director for any irregularity
• Have experience and relationship with customs clearance and sea line, airline
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies

Job Requirement

3. Requirement:

- Graduated from Foreign Trade University/college, Maritime University

- 5–8 years experience in logistics / freight forwarding. Over 3 year experience in Operations Manager

- Experience consulting Customs procedures and other procedures related to import and export services/ Control customs department

- Mastering and understanding of knowledge and legislation on transport, warehouse management

- Strong customer service

- Good written and spoken English (required)

- High sense of responsibility

- Withstand high work pressure

- Time management and multi-task management skills.

- Ability to work independently and work in teams.
