Job description

  • Responsible for pricing management for Trans-Pacific (TP) trade lanes – US, Canada, Mexico.
  • Build, maintain, and develop strong relationships with carriers, NVOCCs, agents, and strategic partners in the TP Trade market.
  • Monitor market movements, analyze freight rate trends, and propose competitive pricing strategies to ensure profitability.
  • Update and maintain accurate rate data in the system on time.
  • Negotiate freight rates/space with carriers to meet customer demands and optimize profit.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (CS, Booking, Operations) to secure space and sailing schedules according to customer requirements.
  • Support customers by addressing inquiries, resolving pricing issues, and providing timely updates.
  • Collaborate with the global pricing team on short-term and long-term strategies, share market updates, and respond quickly to changes.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports and recommend improvements in pricing efficiency.
  • Perform other duties and projects assigned by the Director or higher management.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in foreign trade, international economics, maritime transport, or related fields 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the forwarding, shipping, or logistics industry.
  • Proven experience in working with carriers and partners for TP Trade (US, Canada, Mexico).
  • Strong knowledge of Sea Freight and Pricing
  • Proficiency in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • High sense of responsibility and ability to work under pressure.
  • Service-minded, detail-oriented, hardworking, and positive-thinking.
